Western Connecticut State University Application Requirements

First-year undergraduate students should possess a high school diploma or GED credentials prior to applying for admissions at Western Connecticut State University. Students should complete an application, provide SAT or ACT scores, have a satisfactory class ranking and a satisfactory GPA. The application fee is $50 and is non-refundable. Undergraduate students who are residents of the state of Connecticut will pay $5,672 per 12 to 18 credit hours. Students who are residents of other Eastern states like New York and New Jersey will pay $5,672 for the same amount of credit hours. Students who are non-residents of the state of Connecticut will pay $12,152. For those who are N.E. Regional residents, tuition per 12 to 18 credit hours will be $6,818. International undergraduate students will pay the same tuition fees as out of state residents. Students taking online courses will pay $50 per class. Housing fees for undergraduate students vary depending on the residence hall of choice. Western Connecticut State University has single, double and triple occupancy rooms available. Meal plans range from $1,147 at the minimum and $2,829 at most.
