About Our Lady of the Lake University

Our Lady of the Lake University is located in San Antonio, Texas and is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church. The school was established in 1895 by a religious order known as the Sisters of Divine Providence, which was a group with origins in Lorraine, France. The school’s official colors are blue and white, and its teams are nicknamed the Saints.

The university is part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and students who participate in sports do so in the Red River Athletic Conference. The university is notable for having the oldest school dedicated to social work in the State of Texas.
